ITR continues to meet Investors in People Standard

ITR is delighted to report that it continues to meet the Investors in People Standard, with recognition confirmed until 2014. This follows a 2-day independent audit performed at ITR’s premises in west London in early February 2011.

The audit consisted of a series of interviews with representatives from several ITR teams, including project managers, marketing staff, QA linguists, DTP specialists and software localisation engineers. Interviews were conducted by an external assessor, either on a one-to-one basis or in focus groups, in order to establish how well ITR’s business goals are understood and implemented, and how well the company’s training and professional development strategies continue to benefit both individual and corporate needs.

Last year ITR celebrated 25 years as a leading company in the translation and localisation business, combining linguistic quality with technical expertise in multilingual project management. Attributing ITR’s ongoing success to the calibre of its dedicated and loyal team, Helen Eckersley a director of the company, said “We are very proud to have achieved recognition to the IiP standard once more. Continuous improvement has always been high on ITR’s agenda. It matters that our people feel that they are developing their professional skills in a forward-looking environment. And it’s important that as a company we strive to offer our clients the best possible service. The IiP standard helps us achieve these goals.”

ITR offers technical translation and localisation services to companies in various sectors including automotive, telecommunications, medical diagnostics, oil and gas, and software development.
