Translation of system and user manuals consisting of 2000 pages into 8 languages in 6 months. Subsequently three rounds of four-monthly updates.

Project Methodology

• All materials reviewed and key terms extracted to form the basis of a glossary
• Glossary translated and terms approved by client's overseas offices
• Style guidelines established with client's overseas offices
• Manuals translated working with online glossaries to ensure adherence to approved terminology
• Translations edited to ensure no misinterpretation or ambiguity
• Translated text files formatted in line with source files
• Fully formatted translated manuals proofread to ensure error-free translation that corresponded exactly to source language manuals
• Translated manuals returned to client on CD together with a paper copy and quality control signoff form
