The wheels of innovation at ITR were running at breakneck speed during the initial phases of disruption, as we pivoted to support the businesses who needed us. Laptop computers were in huge demand, and with a stock of over 1000 laptops, we were in a great position to help. Although, simply stocking what they needed didn’t go far enough—so we created the Rapid Deployment Service. This enabled customers to hire laptops and receive them within a matter of hours, with all the necessary software installed and a dedicated technical support package for the ultimate peace of mind.”
During the first few weeks of disruption, ITR supplied hundreds of businesses with laptop hire services and IT equipment rental packages, so their staff could work as effectively from home as they could in the office. In addition to laptops, ITR provided monitors, peripheral accessories, printers and much more. We helped UK businesses move their staff workstations from the office to the home with minimal disruption.
Whilst the type of businesses we’ve supplied is broad—a couple of key sectors relied on support from ITR on a much greater scale.
For obvious reasons, the NHS required a rapid influx of resources, not least in IT technology. We’re proud to have supported numerous NHS trusts with laptops and desktop computers during their most challenging time in living memory.
The education sector was also turned upside down, with students sent home and summer exams disrupted. It was a privilege to be able to support numerous educational institutes, from schools and universities to corporate training providers and national examination boards, so they could continue to provide the education our young people deserve and need.
